I think it was mentioned some time ago, but I can't remember the date. - Are there any more ftp sites where I may get more of Their chords ? - Will They come around Europe any time soon ? Thanks in advance, ... btw, can somebody tell me sth of OINGO BOINGO ? Tempature: About 80 degrees. Crowd: about 100 very hot and bored co-workers. I began to have that very uncomfortable feeling that you get when you get very hot. In other words, I felt like I was about to blow chunks. My mind was obviously not working correctly; I couldn't have blown chunks because I hadn't eaten in three days. I thought that maybe a drink of water would make me feel better. I was sitting in the back row, and was going just to slip out, unsupervised. I remember leaving my chair and heading for the door, but then nothing, until the doctor, who was giving the presentation, came into view, standing over me. I had passed out, hit my head on the door going forward, bounced off, and then hit it again when I hit the floor. Needless to say, I was more than a little embarassed. Doctor's analysis: I hadn't eaten anything in three days, nor had I been drinking enough liquids. I was dehydrated. I had a classic case of heat exhaustion. They drew blood, I almost passed out again. Total Damage: Small gash on my forehead, slightly sprained right shoulder, bruise on my nose, and a hole in my arm. Overall, not a good day, yesterday. The worst part is that I have to go to that damn seminar again. I wasn't all that excited about going in the first place. The weirdest part about the whole incident is: Yesterday was the first day that I hadn't caught myself singing, "Unsuperivsed, I Hit My Head." You guys should write more often 'cause I was starting to think I was the only one on the list for a while. Anyway, Have any of you guys got any t-shirt of TMBG? I wasn't old enough to go to the gig last year so I wouldn't know if they sold any at the show. I've hardly seen any at all, only a couple at Red Eye ages ago. I just finished reading the interps of The End of the Tour. The vast numbers of different interps is testimony to the two Johns' song-writing ability. My friend has a copy of an interview John F (I think) did last year when he came to Australia. I'll post it up as soon as I get it. (I know they where out here for Apollo 18, but I wasn't a fan then). I know that They came to N.Z for Flood and for John Henry, not (1990 and 1995) They played a whole bunch of concerts over there last year didn't They? I remember feeling depressed as They only played here once. :( For some reason I feel obliged to force my "first concert experience" on you all: First (only) concert was during the JH tour. The doors were to open at 8pm, myself and several others planned to arrive at 2pm, hang around outside and do TMBG dances (the ones you see in their videos) hoping to catch the atention of the Johns when they arrived. We did this, but at 5pm they hadn't arrived, so we went away for about 30 minutes to get some dinner. When we arrived back the Johns had already arrived, and were just starting their sound check. We got to watch through a side door for about 15 minutes until some roadie guy came and shut it, saying "This is a private sound check". After the show we waited to talk to the band, but only Brian came out. He was cool though. Later the promoter guy (I guess) came out and asked us who we were with, so we said we were with ourselves and were waiting to see John. He didn't like this, and said the John's were going to leave by a side entrance, so we may as well leave. We left and ran around to the side entrance. The promoter obviously wasn't too smart a guy. We hung around at a respectable distance from the door, and when the band emerged we started to walk towards them, causing them to stop. We asked them if they would be paranoid if we came any closer, they said *yes*, so we retreated to the roadside, and waved at them as they drove off. Flans made some motions with his hand indicating that they were going to go have some drinks. We decided this was a plan, so we left also. That's it.
