I dunno how many other TMBG fans are SKA fans as well but hey.... i would *love* to see them touring together... as long as RBF was opening for them. Anyways, I need the help of this grand list (since i know we're kinda in a lull). Last year me and my buds went as the Aquabats for halloween (chicken genie and all)... but we're shot out of ideas for this year... anyone have any suggestions? take it easy, JOrdaN 10/28: Ho Hum & The Flys 10/31 SKA-loween 11/7 Marcy Playground NY: 11/10-15 Catch a couple Fruvous shows! 11/16: NYC @ Fez's: Michael Shelley and Laura Cantrell http://www2.netcom.com/~arnot/joda/bootlegs.html :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. That would be cool if they toured with TMBG. ------------------------------ Message-Id: <3.0.1.32.19981026134338.007c5db0@mail.clemson.edu> Date: Mon, 26 Oct 1998 13:43:38 -0500 From: Adam Tyner Subject: TMBG: Music Boulevard I ordered a CD from Music Boulevard the other day (Harvey Danger's debut, if anyone cares), and it came with a card that said the following: Mozard whose opera "The Marriage Of Figaro" was performed by soprano Dawn Upshaw who appeared on the album 'Heaven And Hell' by Joe Jackson whose bassist Graham Maby toured with They Might Be Giants who covered "Jessica," written by the Allman Brothers. I thought that was, um, kind of neat. BTW, "Private Helicopter" is a fantastic song. I can't wait to see what Flans does with the video. -Adam -- /=---------------- http://www.he-man.org/ctyner/ ----------------=\ http://www.crystal-night.com/~ctyner/ http://www.awod.com/gallery/rwav/ctyner/ He-Man, Tuscadero, "Weird Al", Yoo-hoo, Killer Tomatoes, & more! ------------------------------ From: mr.train@juno.com Date: Mon, 26 Oct 1998 15:05:36 -0500 Subject: Re: TMBG: old songs Message-ID: <19981026.150901.4318.1.Mr.Train@juno.com> On Sun, 25 Oct 1998 12:59:48 -0500 (EST) filthyscarecrow@webtv.net writes: > Hey, anyone who lives in Indianapolis, there's this great place to >eat called the Shelby Street Diner (somewhere on Shelby St.(Reply to me if >you really want to know)).
