As Brian said, he wasn't expecting it to be so great, but it turned out allright. It was cool that he sat down with us before and after the show and talked. Fun set. More stuff on that show: The band afterwards, whose name I forgot, was allright. They reminded me a *lot* of the Coctails, but not as good. Maybe they need Archer Prewett to produce their next album or something. I would consider buying it then. The TV was playing a strange video of, it had to have been 1940's porn. It was really bad. Almost Ed Wood quality of badness. Terrible, horrible, no good, very bad. This Thursday. St. Ann's. Be there. Duty now! All Stars have been around for eighty years, they didn't just stop making them or anything. Although my search for a pair of kelly green All Stars has gone unfulfilled, I do have lots of other colors, and you shouldn't scare the children by saying they don't make them anymore. Or something. -Flyn From owner-tmbg-list@tmbg.org Wed Nov 18 23:35:33 1998 Received: (from majordom@localhost) by ussenterprise.ufp.org (8.9.1/8.9.1) id XAA09230 for tmbg-list-outgoing; Wed, 18 Nov 1998 23:35:33 -0500 (EST) Received: from mail.goshen.edu (MAIL.GOSHEN.EDU [199.8.232.242]) by ussenterprise.ufp.org (8.9.1/8.9.1) with ESMTP id XAA09221 for ; Wed, 18 Nov 1998 23:35:30 -0500 (EST) Received: from deborahas ([199.8.237.24]) by mail.goshen.edu (Netscape Messaging Server 3.56) with SMTP id 237 for ; Wed, 18 Nov 1998 23:34:03 -0500 Message-Id: <3.0.3.32.19981118233314.006e4b70@goshen.edu> X-Sender: amandah@goshen.edu X-Mailer: QUALCOMM Windows Eudora Light Version 3.0.3 (32) Date: Wed, 18 Nov 1998 23:33:14 -0500 To: tmbg-list@tmbg.org From: "Amanda Heggen" Subject: TMBG: Converse In-Reply-To: <365384F1.103C@tmbg.org> References: <54d94c19.36536438@aol.com> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Sender: owner-tmbg-list@tmbg.org Precedence: bulk Reply-To: "Amanda Heggen" >Huh? they don't make any decent converse sneakers any more? Then i put duct tape down and then spray painted blue lines on them....very individual...you guys should try it...you could paint your own desgins on them, or even tye dye them (if you can...i've never tye dyed anyting) anyway, even though there is a lack of original chucks on the market, just make your own!
