I have listened to it all day and am very glad that the Johns are promoting the fact that the band has horn players. I have always felt that their music sounds best with live horns and perhaps with a little luck and some success with this album and new label they will be able to afford to take the horns on the road with them. The horns aren't bad, but they dominate the song too much. I definetely hate the Dig My Grave teaser, I was so pissed when the CD just cut out after the intro. I do like S-E-X-X-Y with the horns, though. They dig an excellent job of filling in the much-needed string parts, normally missing in a live show. If only there was a horn version with Hal Craigin. (other than the album version) Can't win 'em all, I suppose. STD isn't a bad album, but it just seems to sterille to be a TMBG live show.
