Check it out: http://cgi.pathfinder.com/cgi-bin/time/osform/gdml3 Jesus is listed three times, and Mohammed twice. And Flansy's previous slot, number four, is now occupied by Optimus Prime. Flansy's down to #18. And there are some names there that I'm sure are non-celebrities or just plain made up. At least Hitler's gone from the list. Still, I'm removing the link to the poll from my web site, and I suggest all other Giant-ers who have links to it on their web sites do the same. Of course, if you want to check out my site before I remove the plug, here's the address: http://lavender.fortunecity.com/fullmonty/22/mywebpage.htm (Hint: It's in the TMBG pages.) This is usually the case when people swear some TV show, song, etc. made a reference to TMBG. Its like the Simpsons episode where they mention "doing donuts". DAS has been "broken" for the past couple of months. i haven't tried to call DAS in about a year but the theories: #1 it does occasionally do stuff like this (where it'll just ring and ring and no answer), then when it does get fixed you've got a span of about 2 weeks to call and not have to worry about a busy signal cuz everyone just assumes that it's still broken and doesn't bother calling... #2 they're phasing out the actual dialasong number in favor of www.dialasong.com (i believe this was discussed on the musings board) as far as hints go... #1 call from work #2 call from your in-laws houses. take it easy, JOrdaN http://www2.netcom.com/~arnot/joda/bootlegs.html :::np: BV3 - couch surfer::: ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. The web site hasn't been updated in quite a while. In truth, there hasn't been a whole lot to update as of late, except for the GoodNose (www.goodnoise.com) releases. I hope to add those into the song pages soon. Since they are all re-releases this isn't a lot of work. I am sitting on a ton of minor updates to interpretations and such. We are always behind on these things, but this time it is particularly bad being almost 9 months behind on some items. This is not good. I don't have time to keep up with them, so I am looking for help. It's an easy job, but I have a few requirements. You must be able to edit raw HTML, you can't use a page designer program. Also, it is 10000 times easier if you can edit text files on a Unix box (I will gladly install the editor of your choice). If anyone is interested in doing several hours of updates and meet those qualifications let me know, otherwise they are going to sit for a while. I am also far too slow responding to account validations and password change requests. I would love to be faster, but I just don't have the time. If someone has some experience with SQL databases and/or perl programming and would like to help validate accounts or write scripts to make doing so easier, let me know and we'll work on it. Finally, www.tmbg.org is going to be moved to a new machine in the next month or so. The machine it is running on is being upgraded for other reasons, so www.tmbg.org gets a free upgrade out of the deal. I'll post more notices as the cutover gets closer.
