I was so happy to see that They are finally coming back to my town (last time was on the John Henry tour) on 4/28! I called Kentucky Center for the Arts for ticket info and thought I'd pass it along to anyone who may be in my area and planning to go. Tickets go on sale 3/27 for Lonesome Pine subscribers, who get first crack at the best seats. Then, probably a week later, sales will be available to the general public. Tickets will be available through the local box office or Ticketmaster. The Center has multiple theatres and They will be playing in the Bomhard, which holds around 720 people. It's not a club/bar type environment at all, but a proper sit down theatre (they usually book much more "formal" shows--last time I was there it was to see Itzhak Perlman). Should be different! ------------------------------ Message-ID: <19990319193938.23946.qmail@hotmail.com> From: "Alex Pedraza" Subject: TMBG: Charges for every e-mail? Complain to your Congressman. Don't allow this to>>>pass. First off, I am quite certain this is one big-assed rumor (where did you find this excerpt anyway? if it was an e-mailed fwd, I wouldn't believe it), as I've heard similar things for the longest time (example: "AOL is going to charge us for using chat rooms!" and things of that likelihood), but as many warnings I've seen, they've never actually happened. Also, I think that could be a violation of rights (perhaps, at least - it would be hindering freedom of speech, in my opinion) and rather ridiculous anyway. I mean, if I want to send a letter to California, I don't have to pay as much as I would have to for a phone call to California. But that's just my guess. ever-sincere, eriKa, shore, I can getcha a sailah suit - he's still asleep!
