Raymond Scott created very exciting, very accessible music. I don't know about this band, but the original Scott recordings are fantastic! All persons on earth should own a copy of "Reckless Nights and Turkish Twilights", which is UNFORTUNATELY the only CD available by Scott and his INCREDIBLE band. (At least, it's the only one I know of, please correct me if I'm wrong!). Plus, the CD contains a brief bio of Scott's very interesting life. > But if you attended a really excellent theatre like the Senator > in Baltimore or the Uptown in DC (although I haven't been to the latter) > you won't get any trailers. When the lights begin to dim prior to the show, the whole organ, player included, sink into the stage floor and a trap door shuts behind them! The guy always waves to the audience just before he sinks out of sight. Exactly! :) Cute, loveable, and created by the hands of the Johns themselves, so we should all not hesitate to bow down at the glowing screen and pay homage. Frankly, I think those particular videos kick ass, and are a nice random change from the others. Just like the Johns to completely surprise me by doing something odd. The "official" TMBG videos are as follows: Put Your Hand Inside The Puppet Head Don't Let's Start Hotel Detective Ana Ng They'll Need A Crane Purple Toupee Birdhouse In Your Soul Istanbul The Statue Got Me High The Guitar Snail Shell Doctor Worm All of these videos, as well as the two Tiny Toons videos (of which you have probably heard, even if you have not actually seen them) are on the recently released video collection known as _Direct From Brooklyn_.
