No, I'm telling you I've seen You Were Spiraling open for TMBG 4 times and I've talked with Tom and *I* don't think he looks anything like Linnell, outside of the things I mentioned above. If you think he looks like Linnell that's fine but don't tell me I'm wrong, because I don't think he looks like Linnell one bit. That never occurred to me at all and even after you mentioned it and I thought about it, I still don't think he looks like Linnell...I can't even imagine mistaking Tom for John, Anyway does anyone else think that the guitarist from You Were Spiraling looks exactly like Matthew Perry(Chandler) from Friends? At the LTW release party show I looked at him and thought "Damn, that guy looks like Matthew Perry". Not 5 seconds later the girl next to me said to her boyfriend, "Doesn't the guitarist look like Chandler from Friends?" >He has Linnell Shape, Linnell Size, Linnell Nose, Linnell >Adam's Apple, and most important of all, Linnell hair, including color. If it's video bootlegs of TMBG you want, you should go straight to the source. Russ Josephson has been compiling all of TMBG's TV appearences and offers 3 volumes at his site: http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/7158/tmbg.htm the videos are $6 each, for cost of postage and blanks, and it's non-profit. Russ just does it out of the kindness of his heart. -Jay ------------------------------ From: HeYAnArChY@aol.com Message-ID: <6d6f854.250abf1a@aol.com> Date: Fri, 10 Sep 1999 16:07:54 EDT Subject: Re: TMBG: TMBG Videos. I know "Mammal" has the Word in it, but I don't know of any other TMBG song with it. Am I missing any? The full list can be found at http://www.crosswinds.net/~abdominalyeti and then click the "Monkey Songs" link. Any songs (not necessarily tmbg) you know of would be appreciated.
