We play our first two games on Thursday night. The games last from 7:15pm-8:45pm. We need fans to help intimidate the other team. If you could come out for the game, we'd love you forever. Here's how to get to the field: -It's called Kreig Field #6. -Travel to Riverside & I-35. -Go east on Riverside. -After several lights, turn left (north) onto Pleasant Valley. -Before too long you will see baseball fields on your right. This is the Pleasant Valley Sportsplex. This is not your destination. Continue past it. -You will pass through a traffic light, and you will eventually see more baseball fields on your right. This is the Kreig Complex. This is your destination. There will be a sign indicating this. -The Kreig Complex is located just before the river, so if you cross over the river, then you've gone too far. The team has a homepage which contains all of this info, pictures, the lineups for the game, and a lot more: http://www.mitcharf.com/~mitcharf/softball/ E-mail me if you need any info. The Replacements video is really cool and the description was pretty accurate. I couldn't imagine any semi-mainstream band wanting to make a video like that and have it go down. It was really visionary and cool. As the rest of the countdown is counting down there's been less and less of the artists that few people have heard of, but they've made some really good choices. I was really happy to see True Faith. A video that really changed how I look at videos, and afterwards when Carson was talking they played Bizzare Love Triangle in the background. Seeing Bowie was great as was Fight For Your Right to Party of course. TMBG usually make much more wiser decisions towards things like what to release as singles (not that ICHY is a bad song. I just could never imagine it getting any airplay). I had a new TMBG dream, and I promise, I'll make it quick. And I even know why I had this particular dream. In real life, I'm in a Drum Corps called the Empire Statesmen (you Rochestarians may know of them) I had a dream that my drum corps was playing here at my school in the dining hall and Mr. Linnell was the soprano player standing behind me, which was freakyto begin with, but then he started correcting every little thing I did, right down to how I held my horn. It really pissed me off. So I had the dream because of the band Linnell is in (Statesmen) and also because it seems like he plays every instrument in the book, so why not be in a drum corps. :o) "I'd rather be whistling in the dark," -A ------------------------------ From: aknoleages@webtv.net (Dude_Menes) Date: Thu, 9 Dec 1999 16:14:24 -0800 (PST) Subject: TMBG: IS Message-ID: <23047-385045E0-4471@storefull-241.iap.bryant.webtv.net> --WebTV-Mail-29425-2526 Content-Type: Text/Plain; Charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7Bit Hi everyboddy. --WebTV-Mail-29425-2526 X-URL-Title: IS Content-Disposition: Inline Content-Type: Text/Plain; Charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7Bit http://community.webtv.net/aknoleages/Mymainpage --WebTV-Mail-29425-2526-- ------------------------------ From: PRMega@aol.com Message-ID: <0.38063f9e.2581a2c2@aol.com> Date: Thu, 9 Dec 1999 19:26:42 EST Subject: TMBG: re: millenium special << >Huh?
