Drummer: Dan Hickey (compare SAS solos, Dan's are just funnier..at least the ones I've heard...maybe this says something just about the interaction between the band, but hell, thats important too) As for Brian, I believe he has a job as a hairdresser (for big time movie stars) where he makes more money than working as a drummer for TMBG; and as I read things, they understood why he left (because they couldn't pay him lots of money). Guitarist: Eric Schimmerhorn (sp?)--Iggy Pop vs. Lincoln; I'm sorry, I love Lincoln, but it's really no contest. :P Ok, that's my 2 cents...the bassist was too difficult for me. :P --jason "still here" glastetter ==================================================================== http://www.poingly.com - - Home of the infamous Poingly online game! http://www.mp3.com/poingly - - Purchase those darn Poingly CDs here! ==================================================================== ------------------------------ From: "Rachel A. Let me just start off by mentioning that I know I don't post very often, but it's tought when you subscribe to the digest form of the list... I'd subscribe to the regular form if I trusted myself to not sit in front of my computer and talk about TMBG all day. :) Just so no one thinks I post only to plug my pages or anything. :) Anyway, I've scanned lots and lots of concert pics and have them posted at http://www.rpi.edu/~vecchr/tmbg . The pics from the central park show aren't there yet, but should be around just after the holidays. Also, I've kind of started working on a Flans fan page, to go along with the Linnell fan page that's already out there. I've got sections so far for a bio, pictures, quotes and links. Any other ideas? It seems rather empty so far. Any suggestions would really be appreciated. It's tentatively called "Fans of Flans," to match "Lovers of Linnell." Heh heh... Anyway... :) So I guess that's it for now. Let me know what you think of the pics. :) Rachel ------------------------------ Message-ID: <19991222205930.25387.qmail@hotmail.com> From: "Nathan Mulac DeHoff" Subject: Re: TMBG: Musician Polls Date: Wed, 22 Dec 1999 20:59:30 GMT Dexter wrote: >Mark Donato isn't just State Songs. Okay, Paul McCartney. -- Relaxing on my hands and knees, relaxing on my face, Nathan DinnerBell@tmbg.org http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Corridor/5447/ ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ From: LimeZinger@aol.com Message-ID: <0.cd67a8fe.2592e532@aol.com> Date: Wed, 22 Dec 1999 21:38:42 EST Subject: TMBG: Fwd: New Music From TMBG! [Attachment omitted, unknown MIME type or encoding (message/rfc822)] OK, I was sitting there with my mom, and she stopped channel surfing to find her glasses. So I'm sitting there watching something about presidents, and what do I hear? A caller to the show starts saying "There's this band called They Might Be Giants, and on their album Factory Showroom, they have a song called James K. Polk. So as I'm sitting and enjoying the CD, I'm also learning about the election of 1844." Well, I just thought that was an incredible discovery which I stumbled upon (when the hell do I ever watch C-Span?) and I decided to share.
