(Okay, so it's cheating to list your own band!) I was wondering how many others have bands and do they have similarities to TMBG? Such as 'Are We There Yet?' can be abbreveated much like tmbg to awty and my band 'In Need of Counseling' can do the same (inoc) I know its not a big deal but Its important to me that my band doesnt come off as a tmbg rip-off and that was one thing i thought of and it always krept under my skin about my band name. I dont ever want to change it though. the sound of the band I think holds its own but of course an still be related to tmbgness, much like say.... i dont know someone else that was inspired by someone. We're called the Alterians. We've done a few TMBG covers for the shows we've done: Why Does the Sun Shine?, Ana Ng, Hi, We're the Replacements, and Older. We actually use older now as a warm up. We call it the "Older Jam" we take the little guitar and base into and just improvise with the same notes and such.
