I have a few now that I've posted on my web site. I could use a lot more, though, so please take a minute to help me out if you can. What I'm doing is posting a list of radio stations that play TMBG on my page so people can know where to here them. If you know of a station that plays TMBG, please send an email to the address listed below telling me the call letters, frequency, station name, city it's in and the web address if it has one. I'd really appreciate it. I am most lacking in stations that play out West and in the South, and I have no stations in Canada. Thanks again to those that have already sent them in. They do that sort of thing (rarely). But if you want the info its: WNNX 99.7 New Rock 99X www.99x.com in Atlanta, Ga -thm- At 03:27 PM 5/12/00 +0000, Shaun Peck wrote: >I've got a TMBG page that I'm trying to set up. Date: Mon, 15 May 2000 13:37:26 -0400 Don't forget to watch the webcast of the 4/27/00 show tomorrow, I was there and it was a great show! I got John Flansburgh to respond to three of my shouted comments, so listen for these things.. I don't know if my own voice will show up on the recording but Flansburgh's responses certainly will be. I'm not sure if this is the order that they happened: 1) John was introducing Cyclops Rock, and he said that it was unreleased. I shouted, "What We Did This Summer!". He responded with, "What are you talking about??". I said, "Promo release!" and he said something like, "Oh yeah, the promo. Woo." 2) John was reminiscing about a show They did back in '95 in Philadelphia. He said he wasn't sure about the name of the venue, but he thought it was "Tropicana". Since I was there, I remembered the correct name was Trocadero so I told him so. He responded with something like, "Yeah, that's it. We have someone from Philadelphia in the audience.". I'm from Jersey, but I didn't bother to correct him. 3) John revealed that the show would be ending in the letter S (They played the show in alphabetical order by setlist abbreviation) so I shouted, "You're ruining it!". His response was something like, "Yeah, I'm ruining the show. I suck!". That's about it. Let me know if you hear those things. I have some new MP3s up on my page, mostly from the 4/20/00 show at the Bowery. Well, my friend Kyle, who knows I'm a big TMBG fan, came up to me today in school and said "Have you heard that song 'Doctor Worm?' You know, by They Might Be Giants." And I'm like "Yeah, of course." To which he replied with "Well, I saw a video for it." So I then asked "Where?" And he said "On Kablam." Cool. I told him about WDTSS?, but he said that he didn't see anything like that. Later, he was singing it in class. Everyone looked at him funny but me.
