Anyway, in it, there were some extra verses. In the MP3, did it talk about Nevada being "the dream of every girl," or "the acorn of the squirrel?" If so, then that's probably the one. Hope I helped! In the MP3, did it talk >about Nevada being "the dream of every girl," or "the acorn of the >squirrel?" If so, then that's probably the one. Well, there was one different verse, anyway. The original had much better lyrics, as far as I'm concerned. They were: Nevada, Nevada, the dream of every girl Nevada, Nevada, the acorn of the squirrel Ladies falling from the treetops, calling out in heaven's name Parachutes of dresses, saving every dame Nevada, Nevada, the dream of every gal Nevada, Nevada, the helper and the pal I'm not sure why Linnell decided to change the lyrics, but the best of us make odd decisions sometimes. I think it might have been interesting if he mixed the lyrics from the two versions (start out with the part about meeting the man a long, long way from home, and then go on to the part about ladies falling from treetops). I tried to mix the two versions in WAV form, but it didn't come out all that well, because John's voice is completely different in each version. He used his bored-sounding "Particle Man" voice for the original. -- Eat your broccoli, Nathan DinnerBell@tmbg.org http://www.geocities.com/fablesto/ ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ End of tmbg-list Digest #29-29 ******************************
