The difference between them and their mp3 versions aren't percevable once burnt and played on a CD player. However, the imperfections in the mp3 and wav files can be picked out by a computer with the speakers turned up really really loud, as I discovered. (At which point, ones neighbors can also pick out the imperfections in the track.) Did anyone else find that the LTW liner notes are just slightly too small to fit into a normal CD jewel case? -Russ _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. I don't have your email address anymore, and I was wondering if you sent the bumper sticker yet... and if you didn't, I'll give you my school address to send it to, since my family goes through my mail anyway and it'll get lost... Oh, and Lydia, I have to thank you again... I now have the entire Nook using a strange twisted form of your "... since..." sig line. We usually make it a verb then since... something random, not a year. It's fun though.... thanks again.... At one time I was working on a modified version that fixed some of the problems but then I got lazy. -B O N G O ____________________ "fitter... healthier... and more productive... a pig... in a cage... on antibiotics" -Radiohead (New album, "Kid A" comes out Oct 3!) ------------------------------ From: "Nathan Mulac DeHoff" Subject: Re: TMBG: sarah? sarah? oh and lydia.... The main band features Steuart Smith (Shawn Colvin, Rosanne Cash) on various instruments (including guitar, keyboards, and accordion), Rob Hyman (Joan Osborne, The Hooters) on keyboards, ***Graham Maby*** (Joe Jackson, Natalie Merchant) on bass and Steve Holley (Paul McCartney, Joe Cocker) on drums. As in her previous outings, Williams showcases her appealingly complex lyrics but also opts for arrangements that infuse each song with dramatic resonance. "I am so grateful to Stewart," she says. "He got the right musicians and guided the sessions. While all the songs are thematically unified, they have their own voices. Stewart was able to approach each song like an individual short story that took on its own life." " This is the same guy that played with TMBG, yes? That's so blasted cool...
