Date: Wed, 25 Oct 2000 18:23:22 GMT Message-ID: After trying a few times to reach Dial-A-Song in the past few days, and being unsuccessful (it was back to its old "ring indefinitely" trick), I finally managed to get through. There seems to be a new song on there. I think it's Flansburgh singing, and the chorus is something like: Drink, drink, this town is so great Drink, drink, it's never too late To drink, drink, it's no big surprise 'Cause what words rhyme with "buried alive"? Despite the supposed two-song policy, I only heard this one song, followed by Flans describing the Bowery shows. He made no mention of the Dial-A-Song show, but did mention that the band would hopefully perform "Fingertips" on the second Tuesday. I'm assuming that this is in addition to the Dial-A-Songs, although I suppose we won't know until after the show itself. -- Eat your broccoli, Nathan DinnerBell@tmbg.org http://www.geocities.com/fablesto/ _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. Sorry for the delayed response. I've been on the list since sometime in 1993 or 1994, but not always under this name. Longer than some, but not as long as others. I mostly lurk here, posting ever-so occasionally. I'm a bit more of a regular contributor to the newsgroup. Thanks for caring!
