Has the title been shortened, or do people just not feel like writing out the whole thing? I haven't noticed anyone else bringing it up so I thought I would! I was just looking around at the pictures in TDK's site and I noticed that Linnell was wearing the same t-shirt for all of the Bowery Ballroom shows this past Nov, excluding the 16th, which was the special horns show. It was a red and black horizontally striped shirt. I've only been to 3 TMBG shows total, two last month and the first one was last year in May. And if memory serves me correctly, I believe Mr. Linnell was wearing the very same shirt! Or at least one that closely resembles it anyway. I don't know, I'll check my pictures when I get home. So my question is, is this his official Bowery Ballroom shirt? Have there been any other sightings of this infamous tee at other shows in other locales? (I'm sure there have, but what I really mean is have there been any REPEATED sightings?) ok well just thought I'd throw that log into the fire. Any thoughts? He wears it at the DC shows often as well. In fact, Flansburgh, too, has been wearing that orange gap t-shirt every single time I see a show. The only reason I even started noticing that one was that he told a long story about how he had bought it at the gap during a protest in DC. At the last bowery show, some friends and I had bets on what they would wear. And there they were again: orange gap t-shirt, red and black ernie shirt. It's made me wonder if they're lucky shirts, or if maybe it's a joke on people who see every single one of their shows.
