I'm curious as to whether they're going to continue doing this for longer than a year, and, if so, if they'll be offering any more goodies. True, but at least you get a CD when you buy the 4-song EP. This way, you get nothing but sound files. Besides, the 15-song Long Tall Weekend cost less. For the first month, it would be like paying ten dollars for a CD featuring six exclusive songs and over an hour of live material, plus a videotape featuring the completely awesome "Hoovering Sombrero" video. That's not bad at all, plus you throw in the everpopular fleece and signed CD, and access to about a million non-TMBG songs, that you can freely peruse to find new things you might like. But THIS month seems to be a different story. Nobody's mentioned this, so maybe I misunderstood, but the newsletter said the January edition is "already up." But only one song has been added. Did they go all out for the first month only to begin adding things at their own leisure? I mean, I'm sure the Johns know what they're doing, but maybe they could tell us about it so that everyone could stop grinding their teeth about their precious money. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com From owner-tmbg-list@tmbg.org Sat Dec 23 19:01:18 2000 Received: (from majordom@localhost) by ussenterprise.ufp.org (8.9.3/8.9.2) id TAA86749 for tmbg-list-outgoing; Sat, 23 Dec 2000 19:01:18 -0500 (EST) (envelope-from owner-tmbg-list@tmbg.org) Received: from imo-r12.mail.aol.com (imo-r12.mx.aol.com [152.163.225.66]) by ussenterprise.ufp.org (8.9.3/8.9.2) with ESMTP id TAA86740 for ; Sat, 23 Dec 2000 19:01:17 -0500 (EST) (envelope-from Vazco@aol.com) From: Vazco@aol.com Received: from Vazco@aol.com by imo-r12.mx.aol.com (mail_out_v28.35.) id i.a1.ef89d04 (4330) for ; Sat, 23 Dec 2000 19:00:38 -0500 (EST) Message-ID: Date: Sat, 23 Dec 2000 19:00:37 EST Subject: TMBG: tmbg unlimited To: tmbg-list@tmbg.org MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="part1_a1.ef89d04.277696a5_boundary" Content-Disposition: Inline X-Mailer: 6.0 sub 171 Sender: owner-tmbg-list@tmbg.org Precedence: bulk Reply-To: Vazco@aol.com --part1_a1.ef89d04.277696a5_boundary Content-Type: text/plain; charset="ISO-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable In a message dated 12/23/00 2:57:58 PM Eastern Standard Time,=20 xornom@hotmail.com writes: > True, but at least you get a CD when you buy the 4-song EP. =A0This way, y= ou=20 > get nothing but sound files. =A0Besides, the 15-song Long Tall Weekend cos= t=20 > less. =A0Was that a way to get us hooked before they raised the price? > -- >=20 Fact is that the 9.95 a month is an Emusic subscription service.
