I was home in philly that weekend. We got like 9 inches but the roads were cleared in like 5 minutes. When I went to DC for a conference. I left about 6 inches of melting snow left and was greeted in washington by NO SNOW ON THE GROUND! I asked the cab driver taking me from Union Station what happened. He said they barely got a fraction of what was forecast. Anyway, my pa/ny ass laughs at the people in like CA when they complain about 50 degrees being cold. I can see no way that they wouldn't play Boss of Me as that's the song that's getting play now and they're going to want to continue to build on the attention it's getting. It is going to be awesome. Kilborn is the best show on late-nite right now (this is coming from a die-hard, long-time Conan fan) and it'll be incredible to see the Johns play there!! If this still holds true, as I haven't seen it in a while, it means we'll finally get to hear the Johns talk. They may be Conan's band of choice, but he certainly never lets them get a word in. That will make it fine if they play Boss of Me, so they can tell the world that they have lots of songs, that MTV has their video, and that they have two albums coming out at some point that everyone worth anything should buy. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 24 Jan 2001 19:38:42 -0600 From: "Polaris" Message-ID: <94nvvj$1qhu$1@ussenterprise.ufp.org> Organization: They Might Be Giants, Unofficially http://www.tmbg.org Subject: Re: TMBG: Craig Kilborne > >Then they could show that they have more than just one song. > But everyone knows they have three!
