Well right, focusing it all on one day would fly in the face of the reason they have the show in the first place. I think we're just going to request it every day, as often as we think to do it, for as long as it takes. Yes, on TRL, but also on radio stations and anywhere else we can think of. Well, how long does it take to vote on TRL's web site? Ninety seconds ultra-max, usually much less. Even if our chances are remote, the effort is such a trifle that I think it's worth it. If you disagree, then use your time making requests that you feel will be more effective. Just get the word out, that's all. Well just to add my unrequited and uneducated little bit to this topic-. I love FS. It is one of, No it is my favorite TMBG album. Of the albums I do own FS it my absolute favorite- I also have a special spot for STD, as it was the first TMBG c.d. I ever owned AND if it wasn't for that c.d. I would have never become a THEY fan! I also like LTW, It's not my favorite but it's certainly not the one that gets played the least either. I don't really like Flood. I think this comes from being a relatively new fan- { I've also found this with XtC, I tend to like the newer stuff better.} Although I have to agree with Gegatron: ----------------------- It seems like they tried to make their "live" album sound as studio as possible (they took out all the crowd noise for crying out loud). ----------------------- People always make this comment, but I've yet to see an explanation as to how crowd noise is a good thing. Maybe if the audience had been singing along or something it would have been appropriate, but I'm not sure random clapping adds all that much to a recording. --------------------------- I personally like the crowd and all the noise that go with them-. My favorite version of Ana Ng has a huge bloody crowd singing along to the song but you can still hear the John's very well. {It's a great recording} As long as the noise isn't overbearing that's what I expect from a "live" recording--. As much as I love STD, it is very 'studio' -.STD cover art-Yeah its fairly gross but I hardly ever look at the covers on my c.d.'s- How many different versions are there??? I was in a music shop the other day when I noticed a copy of STD with a different cover- I know STD and the "live" album have almost the exact same covers-but this one was a medium blue background with a pale blue/white scratches on the front-{sorry my memory and descriptive skills are not all that good!} Sammee "You laugh at me because I'm different.
