Message-ID: The "No!" songs that are up are blowing me away! I love "Monsters of Mud" and "Violin" -- they rank right up there with any of the best Giants songs, in my opinion. Can't wait for this record to see the light of day. Overall, I'm really impressed with the March issue. I love "Lines Upon a Tranquil Brow," I love the Flood show (I haven't downloaded the mp3s yet, but I was at the show), and I even love the "Theme from Unlimited" -- maybe I'm in the minority for thinking so, but I wish the band would do more instrumental/experimental stuff (stuff like "Siftin'" and "Minimum Wage"). The Johns are such incredible composers and arrangers (and players), and that's often overlooked because of their lyrics. But that's another topic entirely. The thing I'm most curious about with the March TMBGU is the announcement of the free show in NYC on 3/10, with no time or location specified. Grrr! Damn you, Big Steamy Thing, for your infrequent updates!!! _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 4 Mar 2001 09:45:52 -0500 From: tmbgirl@juno.com Subject: Re: TMBG: March TMBGUltd. Message-ID: I've never actually posted to this list before, and have been lurking for over four years now ... I'm a bit scared to come out of hiding, but I've been waiting on this long enough, and thought you guys might be able to help. I got a subscription to TMBG unlimited sometime before this Christmas, and so far have not been able to download a single thing. I've written emusic several times and nobody's been able to help me. I don't know if it's a problem with my account, or AOL or emusic or what. I got the "welcome to TMBG unlimited" letter a month ago, and got the fleece last week, but i still can't get any mp3s. Whenever i try to download anything it gives me an error message, and nine times out of ten, it won't even let me sign in. According to my mom, (who gave me the subscription as a present) we've already been billed for it so it's not a probelm with the credit card. I hope this doesn't count as a nuisance post, I'm just out of ideas and hope that somebody here has had a similar experience or can tell me what to do about it! thanks, ~e~ (Emily) ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 4 Mar 2001 20:44:26 -0700 From: "Nicholas Wolf" Subject: TMBG: TMBG Unlimited...
