Now does anyone have any insider info that there might be some hidden tracks on it? I would be surprised if they didn't have one. Or maybe that was just a fad. But I have to admit their way of doing it is much more entertaining than say 20 minutes of blank space at the end of a CD. Actually I would like to see a TMBG Enhanced CD. Or is there already one and I am just really dense? ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 11 Aug 2001 10:36:31 -0500 From: "Jay G" Subject: TMBG: Re: Mink Car question Message-ID: <9l3je1$78b$1@ussenterprise.ufp.org> Organization: They Might Be Giants, Unofficially http://www.tmbg.org "Bryan T. Their Children's album "No!" will have an Enhanced CD part, if it ever gets released. -Jay ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 11 Aug 2001 13:49:58 -0400 From: scratch Subject: TMBG: Re: Mink Car question Message-ID: <3B757046.7BB75EE7@the-pentagon.com> Organization: They Might Be Giants, Unofficially http://www.tmbg.org Jay G wrote: > > "Bryan T. Also, the UK promo Boss Of Me single has the video on it. -scratch ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 11 Aug 2001 20:11:42 +0000 From: "Nathan Mulac DeHoff" Subject: Re: TMBG: Mink Car question Message-ID: Bryan Hoerber: >Ok, so we all know the official track list right? Considering that it's been posted to the list several times, I'd say that's a pretty safe assumption. >Now does anyone have any >insider info that there might be some hidden tracks on it? Well, there aren't any hidden tracks on the downloadable version or the promo. That doesn't mean they won't stick one on for the CD that actually ends up in stores (possibly as an incentive to get people who already downloaded it to buy the CD version as well), but I haven't heard any indication of such a thing happening. >I would be >surprised if they didn't have one. Or maybe that was just a fad. Maybe. Factory Showroom, Severe Tire Damage, and It's Fun To Steal had more or less hidden tracks, but that doesn't mean it'll be a pattern for future releases. Besides, State Songs didn't have any hidden tracks, as far as I know. >But I have >to admit their way of doing it is much more entertaining than say 20 >minutes of blank space at the end of a CD. Most CD's stop right after the last song, unless there's something hidden after it. What CD do you have that has 20 minutes of blank space at the end? >Actually I would like to see a TMBG Enhanced CD. Or is there already one >and I am just really dense? The "Man, It's So Loud In Here" EP will include an interactive video for "Spitting Contest," where you try to see how far you can make the Johns spit. -- May the light shine upon thee, Nathan DinnerBell@tmbg.org http://www.geocities.com/fablesto/ _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 11 Aug 2001 17:41:15 -0400 (EDT) From: Adam Tyner Subject: Re: TMBG: Mink Car question Message-ID: On Sat, 11 Aug 2001, Nathan Mulac DeHoff wrote: > Most CD's stop right after the last song, unless there's something hidden > after it. No, that's the UK commercial single. The UK promo single has only one audio track, along with the video. -scratch ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 12 Aug 2001 03:07:45 +0000 From: "Nathan Mulac DeHoff" Subject: Re: TMBG: Re: Mink Car question Message-ID: scratch: >lawrence solomon wrote: > > > > scratch wrote: > > > > > Also, the UK promo Boss Of Me single has the video on it. > > > > the one with Reprehensible and Mr. Xcitement? no it doesn't. > >No, that's the UK commercial single.
