I know I've heard this before from another mp3, but I can't, for the life of me, find it. If I remember correctly, it was a live performance. An in-store, or something. An in-store, or something. Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? Not sure if it's the one you're thinking of, but I know there's an instore performance of this song on one of the video bootlegs. I'd check it out to find which one, but I should have been asleep 2 hours ago, and I no longer have the energy to breathe, let alone move. PR Mega [Attachment omitted, unknown MIME type or encoding (text/html)] There is a live mp3 - listed as "Live - German Radio Performance (Track 20)" on twistid.com. That set is quite an awesome collection of raw tmbg live. But wasn't it also released in the very first issue of TMBG Unlimited (I never signed up, so I don't know) as a special video for you people with all the money? I think that was one of the reasons I wanted to join so much - I thought there would be neat video clips each month in addition to all the arcane recordings...and the fleece and cd. ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! I'm off on holidays to morrow so I Just wanted to wish everybody a happy and safe Christmas... Also thought I might tell you about wednesday ... Sydney Metro -12/12/2001 THE INSTORE: TMBG came on around 3 and played for about 30 min's. ( I think ... It could have been longer... 45mins??) They played (from memory, not in order) "Man it's so loud in here", "older" "Cyclops rock", "NYC", "Istanbul", "Shoehorn with teeth" and "Bangs" and um- I think there may have been more but if so it escapes me at the moment. I got my TMBG record cover signed by Both Flans and "Mr Linnell" and My 'State songs' cover signed by "John Sydney Linnell" I think my favourite part of the instore was the part where Flans needed a ding for shoehorn and they found him a MITM coffee mug ... The Concert- was one of the most awesome things I have ever been to or seen in my entire life. Not because it was overly great of they blew stuff up.... Just cause it was fun... and it was them... I was mesmorised by John and John... and the band of dans... "The Band of Dan's" are a very talented bunch of people who were just amazing. They played a really good mix of old and new. The only thing I was a little saddened by was that THEY didn't play Ana Ng or Purple Toupee cover of Mr tamborine man... and I love that song The crowd were all well behaved as well and that is something (being fairly young) I have never come across... So in conclusion... TMBG rule the earth and s**t all over other bands... I got not one but two really cool shirts... and Yeah ... thats about all that needs to be said. I do have pix and stuff.. I've put some up at the TMBG off topic page (including a scan of the set list) I'm still smiling from it... I think everybody I know has heard about the show... Most ppl I have seen since have seen the photos... I cant wait to see them again... ( man I hope I do) Bring on gigantic... Have a great christmas.... Love to you all... Lyndy Ps... I am now... and forever more... A HUGE linnell Fan... I love that man!!! "Don't cry because it's over... Smile because it happened" _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com ------------------------------ End of tmbg-list Digest #48-15 ******************************
