Date: Fri, 25 Jan 2002 17:07:47 -0500 Message-ID: Hello, All, I was wondering if someone could help me place the year of a TMBG show. I saw them in Columbus, Ohio in the 80s soon after their first album came out. Because I have the ticket stub I know the concert was on April 19th and because I was there I know it took a place at a club here in Columbus called Staches. The opening act was a fellow Bar/None band called Glass Eye. I can't remember whether Lincoln had been released but I'm pretty sure the answer is No as I don't recall them playing any songs off of it. They performed as a duo with a big tape deck/machine that played the drum tracks. They did play one non-album song which ended up on an album years later with the lyric "The sun is a mass of incandescent gas" (aka Why Does The Sun SHine?) but everything else, as I recall, was off their first album. I'm thinking the year was either 1986, 1987 or 1988 but I don't know for sure. If someone knows what year this show would have taken place or know of an Internet resource, i.e. tour database, that would point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. I'd just like to know if I'm insane or not. Which I probably am, but that's not what I'm getting at. On the Pop-Up Video was it me, or did they mix up Linnel and Flansy? Or can I no longer tell the difference between the two? -Kelsey Inane and (More than likely) Insane [Attachment omitted, unknown MIME type or encoding (text/html)] [Attachment omitted, unknown MIME type or encoding (multipart/alternative)] ------------------------------ From: "Jennifer Russell-Fenus" Subject: TMBG: TMBG on VH-1 Date: Fri, 25 Jan 2002 19:22:15 -0700 Message-ID: Hey I was just checking out email not too long ago and the TV was on in the other rrom and I hear BOSS OF ME-at first, I though t it was the radio, but then I realized it wasn't even on.
