Though i dont know who the Dave is in the first line... Dave (otobi?) came to town I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure he's saying "David Bowie". PR Mega [Attachment omitted, unknown MIME type or encoding (text/html)] From: "Richard Hilton" "Can I just mention that England just beat Argentina one nil in the World Cup football (as in round ball with 11 a side). If we keep this up maybe we will be an Empire one day.... "BTW well done America on beating Portugal yesterday. You did realise you beat Portugal yesterday didn't you?! Big big football upset." On behalf of the rest of the apathetic population of the United States, thanks for the "well done. I would hope that most of us had known about our rout of Portugal, but World Cup games are on at odd hours for us here, and let's be frank, most of us don't care much about soccer, er, "football." I don't know why really. It could be the low scores, or the lack of cheerleaders maybe. There was a guy at my work though that wouldn't stop talking about how he wanted Senegal to beat France, and...well, I'm sure you can imagine the result of the game didn't shut him up. However, any bad news for France is good news, is it not? I digress, my true intent for this is to vote for option #2 of the whole spam issue, but I lean towards #4 as well, so take your pick. One more thing: ever since the tmbg.org server fiasco circa last Labor Day, I cannot connect to news.tmbg.org. This means no alt.music.tmbg for me, and until I had just recently signed up with the digest format, no mailing list for me either. Does anyone know if it's been fixed? Is there some new method of signing up with it? I've been so out of the loop for so long. Incidentally, I'd vote for Option 1 in the spam thing. Option 2 seems needlessly complicated, Option 3 worse for everyone involved, and 4 is okay, but I get enough spam already.
