On the Radio

Over at www.tmbg.com Jamie Kitman has made a plea for help getting Dr Worm on the air. He even provides a conveniant list of stations so you know who to call.

It's not all doom and gloom, however. A few stations are playing Dr Worm regularly. We've created this page to archive some of the good things going on. If you know of a good station, please point them to www.tmbg.org, and tell us about them!

WSPK (104.7), Beacon, NY

We received this nice note from a DJ at WSPK in Beacon NY. Sounds pretty TMBG friendly to me!

Hello!

I looked briefly at the TMBG web site just a few minutes ago, and
intend to spend more time on it soon.  But I went there because my
boyfriend is a huge TMBG fan and I wanted to see what the site was
like.

Anyway, I went to the page of radio stations you have listed to try to
get "Dr. Worm" played on the radio.  I would like to volunteer
information about the radio station where I work.

It is WSPK (K104) in Beacon, NY.  On the dial, one can find it at 104.7
FM.  We're a 50,000 watt radio station, sending our signal out to parts
of 5 states (New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and
Vermont).  The request lines are 485-WSPK (9775) or 838-WSPK (9775), and
are available 24/7.  I am personally on from 11:50pm Friday until 5:45am
Saturday.  Also, I have already put "Dr. Worm" on our request list that
isn't a part of our currents/recurrents listing.

Tune in and listen to "Julie at the station", of They Got Lost fame. Word is she plays a TMBG song every now and then. Dr Worm even appears to be somewhere on the top 20 list right now. Check them out at www.wfnx.com.

tune in on sunday, august 9th between 12pm-2pm on 88.1 WELH-FM, we're doing
a Severe Tire Listening party where we're playing the WHOLE CD and ALL TMBG
for the ENTIRE TWO HOURS!!!!!! you can hear it all before it arrives on the
11th! and we'll be accepting TMBG requests only on that day....so hopefully
a lot of you will be able to call in.....if anyone here is anywhere near RI.

Dr Worm has showed up several times, including on New Music Sunday. It's up to your calls to make it a regular feature, however.

Visit WWCD on the web, or listen and find Dr. Worm on the medium rotation play list. Let's get it in heavy rotation!

Dr Worm seems to be in a regular rotation.

Dr Worm has been on the air a few times, but the DJ's don't seem to like it. Maybe your calls can help change their minds.

WENZ (107.9), Cleveland, OH

Catch Dr Worm on the radio, and the Giants at "Endfest", sponsored by this great radio station.

EDGE (94.5), Dallas, TX

Dr. Worm has entered the rotation, and is of course, bigger in Texas.

WKVR (92.3), Huntingdon, PA

A very Dr Worm friendly station, call them up at (814) 641-WKVR and say thanks. Oh, request the song too.
