I have a simple and probably obvious interpretation of "The Famous Polka" on the "Miscellaneous T" album, which I didn't find on the interpretation archive list. The first three lines of the song are pathetic attempts to find something in common with a famous person, and the in the last line, the "phone inside her ribcage" is her heart, which is not for him because when it rings it's not for him.

Well-I think this is a pretty easy song to interpret. I think that the guy singing the song is maybe a celebrity stalker or something. The song is mostly music-and only in the end do lyrics come on. Maybe this represents the period when this man was stalking this celebrity. Its pointless silly music-just like what stalking a celebrity would be-pointless. He tries to think of all the ways (although stupid)that he is like or closer to his celebrity (her hair is blond and mine is brown they both start with a B) In the end-the guy realizes that the celebrity will never love him (and when the phone inside her ribcage(HEART!)rings it's not for me).
