It is talking about a whirl pool, which is a twisting mass of water, (lying in a quiet pond). The whirl pool can be taken as a representation of a a modern day teenager. Wild, and fiesty. The pond can be taken as boring old home. and the master is their parents. The wind symbolizes society, and the outside world. Wind is a unpredictable and dangerous force, (just like society). Any ways. The whirlpool wants to go and experience the world. It is tired of being cramped up in this teeny little boring pond. So it's master lets it go. Then the wind sweeps the little whirpool away. And the whirlpool says how wonderful it is to fly.

This is just like alot of the modern day situation with teenagers. They want to grow up as fast as possible, and they want to get out. When they finially are allowed to, they are swept away by society. Whether this is actually good for the kid or not, they seem to think that it is just wonderful. If this all sounds a bit confusing, listen to the lyrics, or if you don't have the song, look it up in the Lyric Archive, It should be in there. If it isn't you'll just have to take my word on this one.
