It's a pretty cool cookbook, and the proceeds go to help the homeless to boot. I bought mine at Barnes and Noble for about $20, then saw it a couple of weeks later at Camelot Music for $10. Oh, well. I embedded a sound into the web page and wanted to see if it was too big, and how many people had browsers that would download it. The results? 165 people attempted to download it, only 9 successfully did. It was too big, most people aborted it. Multimedia is cool, but I guess it will have to wait for people to get something faster than a 28.8 modem. -- Leo Bicknell - TMBG List Admin - tmbg-list-request@tmbg.org System Administrator / Network Technician bicknell@ufp.org - bicknell@vt.edu - bicknell@tmbg.org ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 25 May 1996 19:19:27 +0100 (BST) From: "Mark M. It was made prior to my having any access to editing equipment, so all "editing" involved is just me, a couple of VCR's, and the audio dub button. If anyone does actually want to see it, I guess I can make it public domain. Or if you want to see it Nicole (?), send me an address and I'll send you a copy. Please keep in mind, I was in high school when I made it. Actually, there were three such videos, four if you count my teen angst video for health class. They're all very crude, but sort of entertaining in a nostalgic kind of way... -Slacker Ng. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 26 May 1996 00:54:20 -0400 (EDT) From: Cuper Vargas Subject: Re: Tori Amos? > >that is also the same date that Tori Amos will be playing in close > >proximity. this will be a horribly gut wrenching decision. either way > >i'll feel wickedly good yet terribly bad. this will not be good. I'd have to say, go to the John and John show. And if you like piano playing female vocalists, I suggest picking up either of Suddenly, Tammy!'s albums. She sends her love to everyone on the list, and has, at my request, put together yet another Top Ten list, which follows: Tracy's Top Ten TMBG Songs That Lose Their Charm When Altered to Contain the Word "Mojo": 10. Lie Still, Little Mojo 9. Spiralling Mojo 8. I've Got a Mojo 7. Put Your Hand Inside the Mojo 6. Rabid Mojo 5. Absolutely Bill's Mojo 4. Someone Keeps Moving My Mojo 3. Hey Mr. DJ, I Thought You Said We Had a Mojo 2. It's Not My Mojo 1. The End of the Mojo So there you have it kids. She has told me that she will be rejoining the list next week...hopefully as Tracy, and not Bryan Shelton. But enough about her. As you may have noticed, I changed my name to Mr. Klaw. Since it seems that nobody else has chosen that handle, it will now belong to me...hope you all don't mind. I'm afraid I have no real TMBG related items, other than that They are the most amazing band in human existance...but that's not news. Bye.
