(No new music, but I'm a fanatic, I had to have it for the different packaging.) And I also got the Snowman poster listing concert dates in Germany! (And I'm in the midwest where any TMBG is hard to come by.) In addition, I got a Pink Floyd bootleg tonight. It's been a happy night! Oh, and then there was the fact that when I saw my bf last week, he had a Linnell haircut and Linnell's trademark blue-striped t-shirt. =) Life is good! =) Kylee * -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kylee Dickey 00083933@bigred.unl.edu | "Life's like a movie: Write your http://members.tripod.com/~ShortOne | own ending. Message-ID: Hi - Wow, I can't believe I'm back! I just resubscribed tonight. Last time I was on the list was about a week before FS came out, for about a year or so. I had way too much to do this school year (4th of five at UW), so I missed a bit. I just caught up on the last week of the list and it doesn't seem like it's changed a whole lot (except less non-TMBG content, which is okay by me). But I have some "Catch-up" questions: 1. Is the "TMBG"/"non-TMBG" tag at the beginning of the subject line necessary or optional? 2. Did Russ J. ever come out with a second TMBG "video bootleg"? Loved the first one. 3. What was the list "verdict" on FS and Then? (Clang, clang, whoops, too late??) 4. Anything new and exciting other than Insect Hospital and Mono Puff 2 (and the marriages, and the People appearance)? New topic--my 2 cents on mail ordering from TMBG: I ordered from them via snail mail (w/ a copy of the order form from their last info club newsletter), and I got my 2 shirts, video compilation, and SEXXY single pretty fast (within 1 or 2 months-fast is relative I guess). So maybe snail mail is more reliable than the website. BTW, just saw Ben Folds Five in concert Tuesday at the Rave in Milwaukee, and they put on an incredible show. Too bad the crowd was rude to the opening act--well, actually just the 3 idiots standing behind me. No moshing, though, which was nice (in contrast to the last tmbg show I saw, at the rave last fall). I'm psyched to be back on the list.... I love TMBG!! Jason "Just look at me | J a s o n L. It is tonight at around 8pm EST. I have included below how to get there if you're not already a WBS member. Okay, WBS is a free online chat service. You have to be a member to get to the chat room. So, here's how to get there: 1) Go to http://wbs.net and click on the "New Users" icon. This will lead you through the necessary steps to get a handle and password. 2) To get to the chat room, go back to the WBS home page and click on the "Private Room" icon, which is the key. 3) Now, type TMBG (all caps!) into the "Go to an existing room" space and hit enter. 4) This will take you to the private room entrance. Here, you will be asked for your handle and password. Enter them in and press "Chat Now" 5) The chat screen takes a moment to initialize. Once it is completely loaded, go to the "Refresh Rate" box (in the upper right frame) and put 10 or 15 in it, and press enter. This will refresh the chat screen 10 or 15 seconds. Click on Help if you want to know what the boxes in the bottom frame do. 6) Now you're set to chat. I do suggest, however, that you try going to other rooms before Saturday, just to get used to it. Once you're a WBS member, you can go to ANY regular room and chat with a lot of cool people. Any further ?'s, just contact me. Enjoy and See you tonight! Kelley Kent (kkent@uc.campus.mci.net) aka UCstudent PS - Please sign the petition for our TMBG room. There's an icon for room petitions in the private room entrance. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 07 Jun 1997 13:16:16 -0400 From: Eeyore Message-ID: <33999760.778F@haven.ios.com> Organization: United Federation of Planets Subject: TMBG: PowerRanger'smovie I have no Name wrote: assuming that doesn't take too long and i > don't die from havign to watch a power rangers movie i'll verify the > rumor ASAP! =) > > 'embarking on a GIANT adventure' > JOrdaN If you find Them can you please post which part They're in because I have the movie(I've got younger siblings) but I don't think I can stand to watch it all.
