I think that emusic gives you a password that lets you access the mp3s for download. Maybe people can just send the passwords, and when their validated, you can then send them the CDR copy. Of course, this means they'll have to pay for it themselves, and some don't have credit cards. In the '80s, my favorite comics were anything starring Ambush Bug (who hasn't made a comic appearance since 1992, IIRC) and the Outsiders. The 3 Outsiders series that DC published in the '80s were quite good, although the '90s remake was kinda mediocre. Then I started reading the Legion Of Super-Heroes and Legionnaires. DC's cancelling both of those series very soon, replacing it with a 12 issue maxi-series for a year, then starting one new LSH series. I'm not overly thrilled with that, plus they're getting rid of the entire current staff. (sniff) I'll miss you, Jeff Moy. I was also an avid fan of Scud: The Disposable Assassin, but there hasn't been a new issue of that since, what, April '98? And a recent interest, Vext, was cancelled after just 6 issues. That leaves Bone as the only comic I read, and I haven't been particularly thrilled with that in a couple of years. I wait 3 or 4 months for a new issue, every issue's a quick read, so 5 minutes later, I start waiting for the plot to sloooooowly advance some more. -Adam At 10:24 AM 7/7/99 PDT, Amy Greenlese wrote: >By far the best comic out there is Quantum & Woody, by Christopher Priest >and Mark Bright. Today I noticed something. How come there are no fat people in Star Trek. I just was looking at all the characters and even the people who never get a speaking role. None of them are fat. I realize that I may have missed a few appearances of fat people, but as to my knowledge there's that. ~Jeremiah~ ------------------------------ Message-ID: <001001bec8c7$4fe4e2c0$829da2d1@tk421> From: "eRiCh" Subject: TMBG: very non-tmbg (star trek fat people) Date: Wed, 7 Jul 1999 15:23:15 -0700 Of course there wouldnt be fat people. Wouldnt that look so out of place if a lumbering fat man walked by with his XXXX-Large uniform and somewhere in there is his insigna. Plus, look at that army, or NASA there are no fat people there. You gotta be trim and thin. ready for battle. eRiCh ------------------------------ From: LimeZinger@aol.com Message-ID: <705945ec.24b52dac@aol.com> Date: Wed, 7 Jul 1999 18:24:44 EDT Subject: Re: TMBG: very non-tmbg (star trek fat people) In a message dated 7/7/99 5:22:40 PM, cannon10@wa.freei.net writes: >You gotta be trim and thin. ready for battle. eRiCh and wear a gurdle, like william shatner. :) sarah ------------------------------ From: aknoleages@webtv.net (Dude_Menes) Date: Wed, 7 Jul 1999 15:38:44 -0700 (PDT) Subject: TMBG: Stoned?
