In LTW's case its not illegal at all cause they pretty much know thats what
most are going to do-- thats why they offered the CD liner notes to download
and print.

You could also think about asking someone on the list to make you one like
they did in the past

Hello exquisite living people,

Laura Cantrell, the talented and beautiful
singer accompanying TMBG in the Guitar
video, has a new album out which can
finally be purchased in the US with US
currency.

It's called, "Not the Tremblin' Kind", and
it is really really good. I saw her play live
recently, with long-time TMBG collaborator
Jay Sherman-Godfrey and Hello recording
artist Will Rigby. I also saw her sing at the
Loser's Lounge Tribute on 4/8.

She was really amazing live and I recommend
you get to one of her live shows if you can.

But until then, go buy her awesome album.

Here is the website:

http://www.milesofmusic.com/
or you can use Miles of Music's
toll Free Order Line (US ONLY)
888 766-8742.

I think it costs $15 + $3.75 shipping.

Love,

Rob Plass

Sure, it's some kinda big deal to date someone because they like TMBG.
Suuuuuure it is. Very few of you have actually gone out and picked up a
girl because she happened to be named Rose Linnell. She is related to
John, though it is somewhat distant. Apparently, he doesn't attend family
reunions. (Autumn Patterson made the comment - "I can't see John at a
family reunion. You know, playin wiffleball with the younger cousins or
something.") His parents show up, though...I hear they're a little
weird. Really though, she's even got some things going for her beside her
last name. She also likes Moxy Fruvous and TMBG, plus she's dead sexxy. =)

A side note - Where's the freaking New Mexico Ambassador when I need him?
I'm in Roswell here, visiting aforementioned girl, and I'm not
getting...ambassadored.

Oddly enough, my wife and mother-in-law tried to make a trip down to Roswell
a on Tuesday. Unfortunately, the Bosque was on fire (again), and so was
much of the rest of the state. The roads were closed and they couldn't make
it. Make a trip up to Socorro, though, and I'm sure we can arrange
something. ;0)

Well, that's not EXACTLY true. All of the animation and modeling
was done by one guy, Trent Troop. However, there was another guy
involved (myself), who did all the video editing. Trent did all the hard
work though, and I am surprised to see that someone has come
across this and liked it :) Trent's going to present it at BotCon this
year (some sort of transformers convention), along with the next
one we're currently working on, which is not a TMBG song this
time...

Anyway, glad you like it... i don't know which version that links to
(there is a really crappy low res one and a nice 30fps one)... I plan
on submitting the nice one to Russ for his video bootleg project,
once I get some spare time. Oh, there is also a crappy realvideo
version of it on my personal page in the VIDEO section...

People's most beautiful person poll is again occurring. If you would like,
you can write in your choice. I don't need to remind everyone that TMBG's
own John Linnell was once a top finisher in this poll. For anyone who is
interested in voting (I think you can vote once a day), the following link
should take you to the voting page:
