Guess what i found... a TMBG desktop theme... Wow I was soooo happy... I
would have never expected that...

Just HAD to share that with people who understand how cool that is ...

Did somebody call for an old-timers' roll call?

The earliest message I have saved from the old list is:

Date: Thu, 18 Nov 1993 12:36:32 -0600 (CST)
To: <they-might-be@gnu.ai.mit.edu>

...and it had been going for quite a while before I got there.

I understand how cool it is enough to want one for my very own.... Is there any
way you can put it where others can get at it, kinda share the joy ?? & If not,
then feel free to tell us that now that you look at it again, it actually kinda
sucks, & it's not nearly as cool as you inadvertently had us all believing....

5 years here... but I almost never de-lurk. Don't claim to be the longest, just
checking in.

I actually got a TMBG desktop theme off of eBay. It was kind of cool, but
now that I have it, I really think I could live without it. In fact, if
anyone wants it, feel free to write me and I'll mail it to you.

I've been on the list from close to the beginning. In fact, I only
read this because I recognized Chris's name from long ago. I think
most of us who have been here this long are primarily lurkers
at this point...

I once had an archive of all the list messages from about '90-'92.
I looked for it a few years ago when the list went on "hiatus,"
and realized that it had gotten deleted when I changed accounts.
Sigh.

Mike Leffel would love to be here in person for the old timers' roll call,
but his duties on the road and at Mike "Choo-choo Candidate" Leffel 2000
campaign headquarters prevented him from doing so. Remember, a vote for
Mike Leffel is a vote for choo-choo trains.
