Message-ID: Dear all You may remember that a few weeks ago I offered to buy and airmail the UK single of Boss of Me for people on the list. Well the single is out as it's as a chart hit (!) the price is a bit lower that I originally posted. So the deal is as follows; you email me off list telling me what you want based on prices below (and please include you full name and address!). I send it to you. It arrives safely. You then send me money. I'm happy to have low domination dollars as I often buy from Ebay, although I do have a PayPal account. The combinations are as follows:- (A) CD only 1)Boss of Me 2) Reprehensible 3) Mr. Excitement featuring M Doughty Cost |2.99 plus postage |1.32 = |4.31 = $6.16 = $6.00 (B) Cassette only 1)Boss of Me 2) Reprehensible Cost |0.99 plus postage |1.15 = |2.14 = $3.06 = $3.00 (C) CD and Cassette Cost |3.98 plus postage |1.49 = |5.49 = $7.85 = $8.00 If you want other permutations just ask and I'll work out a cost for you In the above I'm assuming an exchange rate of $1.43 / |1 and rounded to the nearest dollar. As mentioned before please don't send money now - I trust and would prefer you to send money when stuff arrives safely. Richard >>> Amy Greenlese 19/07/01 18:09:56 >>> So I'm sitting here listening to my advance copy of Mink Car that a friend got for me. It's different, but I really like it! I haven't been keeping up with the mp3's so most of the songs are new to me, including Mr. Xcitement. I was listening to it and it was reminding me of a song that was just out of reach of my mind - I hate when that happens. But I've finally figured it out: it reminds me of that Bloodhound Gang song, "The Bad Touch"I think it's the cadence of the lyrics more than anything else. _____________________________________________________________________ This message has been checked for all known viruses by Star Internet delivered through the MessageLabs Virus Scanning Service. Almost too good to be true. So i decided to do a little research and came across the "Official Uk Singles Charts" and its all true. You can see yourself at http://www.worldpop.com/charts/uk_singles_1-25.htm Its quite incredible the amount of success "Boss of Me" has had in the UK. If only it were more like that in the States. Anyway, congats to the Giants and hopefully it will continue to rise up the charts. Dan p.s. I think having "Boss of Me" on Mink Car would be awesome. I know many people don't agree but It would without a doubt help the record sales. But It isn't gonna happen. Just thought i'd through in my 2 cents. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 26 Jul 2001 22:01:06 -0400 From: Amy Greenlese Subject: RE: TMBG: Mink Car - 'Mr. Excitement featuring M Doughty' Message-ID: I wonder if this is the same version of Mr. Excitement as the version on the UK CD Boss of Me single being the third track and listed as 'Mr. Excitement featuring M Doughty'? It's the same song, though, so I guess it isn't really false advertising. If Mink Car is going to be available for download, I guess it's true that Unlimited subscribers will already have all the songs before the free copies are sent out. "You're older than you've ever been and now you're even older" is hardly a good example of TMBG's lyrical prowess, and it seems as if it would be highly unlikely to attract new fans. -- May the light shine upon thee, Nathan DinnerBell@tmbg.org http://www.geocities.com/fablesto/ _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ------------------------------ End of tmbg-list Digest #43-27 ******************************
